“I would be happier if I had more money,” is a common myth in our culture. It is a myth that many genuinely believe, and it is one that makes sense. Having more money would seem to solve a great deal of the issues that we face. Having more money should allow us to pay off more debt, have more of the conveniences of life, and give us fewer financial obstacles to worry about. But the question is, “Would having more money actually make us happier?” The Bible has a great deal to say about material wealth and its effect on our lives.
