Today we are continuing our series on worship. One of the greatest obstacles to worship is our pride. Pride is more than just arrogance. Pride is a focus on ourselves. The Bible warns that human nature is sinful and self-focused. As a result, we want the benefits of worshipping God without the demands that He places on our lives. The problem is that God will not accept watered-down worship. He expects nothing less than our undivided love and obedience. When we truly worship God, we acknowledge Him as our God and we seek to follow His leadership. Our willingness to submit ourselves to Him is the greatest form of love and worship. The message for today is, “Worship is Seeking,” from Isaiah 55:1 – 6.
