Today we are continuing our series of sermons from the book of John titled the “Road to Easter.” Each message in this series has dealt with a miracle that Jesus performed that demonstrated that He is the Son of God. This week we are looking at how Thomas (one of the disciples) responded when he was told that Jesus had risen from the dead. The other disciples had seen Jesus face to face, but Thomas had not. For that reason, Thomas refused to believe. He wanted some additional form of proof. Eight days later Jesus appeared to Thomas. We may not get to see Jesus face to face, but like Thomas God has provided us with the necessary evidence to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our sins.
