A desire of the human heart is to know that we are connected to something bigger than ourselves. Our desire for connection is a God-given desire and the only real way to fill that desire is to enter into a relationship with Him. After we come to faith in Christ we find that growing in our relationship with Him can be difficult because of how different we are from God. He understands the depth of our need and has provided us with genuine help by sending the Holy Spirit to live in us. The Spirit helps us in a variety of ways. One way is by helping us as we pray.
