Set Apart

We are continuing our study from the book of Daniel. The king became angry with his wise men and decided to have all of the wise men in the kingdom killed. Daniel and his three friends were among those who were to be killed. Daniel approached the person who was to arrest them and asked to see the king. His actions saved the lives of himself and the rest of the wise men, but Daniel’s actions did more than just save lives. His actions demonstrated that the God of Israel was the true God. Our lives should demonstrate the genuineness of our faith. Like Daniel, we should live in such a way as to point other people to God. The title of this sermon is “Set Apart.”
