Jesus’s entrance into Jerusalem was an incredible event with men and women lining the streets laying palm branches on the ground as Jesus entered the city on the back of a donkey. What makes the celebration so great is the purpose Jesus had for entering Jerusalem this time. He had come to make a change. The change was needed and now it was about to take place. The change would move us from an impersonal relationship with God through a priest to a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. The message Sunday comes from Hebrews 8:7 – 13 and deals with personal renovation. We are able to grow closer to the Lord and grow in the pleasure of our relationship with Him.
