We live in a world that puts a great deal of pressure on women and it isn’t all healthy. The problem is our world’s standards are so ingrained in us that it is difficult for us to get past them. As a result, many women struggle with pressures about things they may not be able to change such as their appearance. God has a lot to say about women and mothers in the Bible. I find that the Bible emphasize standards for women that are more important than the standards the world has for women. The Bible, for example, teaches that each woman was created by God and has been placed on this earth for a purpose.
