Our current series, “Multiply,” comes from the book of 1 Corinthians and deals with the issue of how the church can be more effective at expanding the kingdom of God. There are so many ministries that a church can use, but it is important that we focus our energy and efforts as a church on our mission. Our mission is to make disciples. That means that we long to see people who are far from God drawn to Him. We want to see people growing in their faith. We are encouraged to see people learning to use their gifts to serve the Lord, and we love to see believers recognizing that they have been called as missionaries to Miami. Our mission efforts are based upon sharing the love of God with a world that does not know Him. The title of this message is “Focus,” from 1 Corinthians 9: 19 – 27.
