Throughout the course of Peter’s life, he found himself in a series of different situations that he could never have foreseen, but the strangest situation he found himself in had to be what happened during the middle of a storm. Peter and the other disciples were caught in a storm on the Sea of Galilee. The disciples were struggling to push toward their goal while fighting against the wind and waves. During the middle of this struggle, the disciples saw something that terrified them. They believed they saw a ghost walking toward them on the water, but what they saw was not a ghost. Jesus walked out and helped them in the middle of the storm. The passage is Matthew 14: 22 – 33, and is titled, “Faith in the Storm.”
